Frequently asked questions

What is a walk-and-a-pint?
A two-stop plan: walk a curated London area (stop 1), then finish at a verified pub within about ten minutes of an exit (stop 2). FairWhere stores those exit→pub links as stop pairs, not a day planner with a third stop.
Why do I need to pick a date?
Several walks use seasonal gate hours (Abney, Woodberry, Greenwich Park, Wetlands). Choosing a date resolves the close time for that day and shows the operator timetable link so you can verify before you go.
Are the pub walks road-routed?
Not yet. Walk times are haversine estimates (~10 minutes at a steady pace). Treat them as a shortlist and confirm the last stretch on the day.
Can the whole group rank these fairly?
Yes. Where a meeting-point Placelist exists for the walk, start from those pins (same access points used for pairs), then create a Plan so FairWhere ranks by journey fairness for everyone coming. Otherwise pick a named exit from the pairs below and plan from there.
How many walks are curated?
Twelve walking areas across London (south, east, west, north-east and central), each with verified exit-to-pub pairs. More areas come as we deepen the catalogue.
