A Grade II-listed riverside boozer that spent the best part of six years shut before reopening properly in 2023, and it now pours cheap pints in a Thames-facing garden looking straight across to Wapping. It is the plainest, least polished venue on this list, deliberately, since sometimes the fairest meeting point is just a proper pub nobody has smartened up yet. A fifteen-minute walk from Bermondsey station keeps it reachable without being on anyone's obvious route, which somehow makes it feel neutral for both sides. Useful detail: there's a projector for match days and a growing quiz and open-mic calendar.
