Frequently asked questions
What does the “Viewpoint” filter show on Meeting points on South Bank, the Strand to London Bridge?
This view narrows Meeting points on South Bank, the Strand to London Bridge to venues tagged for Viewpoint. FairWhere can still rank that filtered shortlist by journey fairness when you start a plan, so the activity fit and the commute both work for the group.
Why isn't “meet on the South Bank” enough?
The South Bank stretches for about a mile opposite the Strand. This Placelist uses foyers, terraces and river landmarks you can text, then ranks them so the pin is specific and reachable.
Can we use these pins for Between the Bridges Oktoberfest?
Yes, as meet pins, not as a festival list. Between the Bridges Oktoberfest weekends run 25 September to 17 October 2026 on Queen's Walk, with sessions from 6pm on the Friday and Saturday dates. Check the official South Bank listing, then text one of these pins and walk to the site.
Where should we meet if it rains?
Filter for indoor or rainy day to surface foyers and covered landmarks, then rank the meet so the rendezvous is fair before anyone walks the wrong way along the river.
How does FairWhere rank places on Meeting points on South Bank, the Strand to London Bridge?
FairWhere ranks venues on this Placelist by FairWhere Score: journey fairness for your whole group, not by popularity, sponsorship, or who suggested the place first. Open Plan a fair meet to add origins and see the ranked shortlist.
Do I need everyone in the same area of London?
No. FairWhere is built for groups coming from different zones. Add each person's start location and it ranks venues so the travel burden is as fair as possible across the group.
