About two and a half miles of flat riverside: Hammersmith Bridge, Chiswick Mall, the Fuller’s brewery frontage, then the Strand-on-the-Green pub row. Walk west for City Barge and Bull’s Head, or stay near the bridge for The Dove and Blue Anchor.
Near Strand the lower path can get wet at high tide — check conditions before you promise a full waterside stretch. Dogs are allowed on the path, but it is shared and narrow in places. For a wider Thames dog walk with a proper pub row, use the Richmond riverside dog guide.
Named riverside pins from the bridge to the Strand — text one so nobody walks the wrong stretch.
Strand-on-the-Green is the strongest finish; Hammersmith Bridge has several riverside options. Walking times are rough.
